For the second time since 2006, Kincumber Public School has had a team in the NSW Primary Schools Sports Association's State Boys Football Knockout finals. The team's seven-match journey to the finals was thrilling. They played great football to become runners-up to Balgownie Public School, whose first half only goal secured them first place. Team manager, Gary Nipperess, said, "The boys showed great skill and team play throughout the competition and to be runners-up out of five hundred participating schools is an achievement to be proud of."
