KPS Public Speaking Competition
At Kincumber Public School we place great value in developing capacity in our students in the area of public speaking. The KPS Public Speaking Competition will be held in all classes across the school this term and will provide the opportunity for students to develop and demonstrate confidence, communication and speech-writing skills. All students from Kindergarten to Year 6 will be expected to participate. They will need to prepare a short speech on an open ended topic to be presented in front of their class.
Times for speeches
- Students from Kindergarten and Stage 1 should aim to speak for 1-2 minutes
- Students from Stage 2 should aim to speak for 2-3 minutes
- Students from Stage 3 should aim to speak for 3 minutes
