Located in a bushland setting, our school curriculum and practices focus strongly on the environment, encouraging students to value sustainable habits. Our outstanding transition programs, from home to school and from primary to high school, support student learning and achievement. Children have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of extra-curricular activities, supported by school staff with expertise and strong commitment to excellence.

Our school actively networks with its parents, other schools in the Kincumba Learning Community and local community organisations as partners in learning, including the local Tjudibaring Aboriginal Education Consultative Group. Strong collaboration exists between our partner schools. Progressive school staff embrace the opportunities of shared programs and combined professional learning to enhance the continuum of learning from Kindergarten to Year 12.

The volunteers of the Parents' and Citizens' Association support the school's vision and values. Community services such as a uniform shop, canteen and out of school hours and vacation care are available to assist busy families. Since 1870 we've provided outstanding education and a tradition of community values in a public school setting.
