When and where can I drop off and pick up my child?

No child should be dropped off to school BEFORE supervision starts at 8:20am and should be collected from school b.y 2:40pm

Parking for drop off and pick up times is very limited. If driving, we would suggest parking at Frost Reserve and walk across to school to meet your child to avoid traffic congestion and long waiting times. There are Kiss and Drop zones clearly marked in Kimbarra Close.

Congestion is worse in wet weather and in the event of extreme weather we have alternate procedures - see them below.

What is P & C and how do I get involved?

The Parents and Citizens Association at Kincumber PublicSchool support students and teachers in many ways - view the Kincumber PS P & C Committee page.

How do I let the school know my contact details have changed?

Call the office to advise, or use the eForms notification "Change of communication details" found on your Skoolbag app.

Is Kincumber PS a "no homework" school?

Kincumber PS has a homework policy that can be found on the School Policies page. This policy has been informed by the NSW Department of Education policy. You may also like to read this article from Education TODAY (pdf 885 KB).

How do I raise concerns about other children?

We encourage parents and carers to advocate strongly on their child's behalf and, as part of this, we expect them to raise concerns about their child.

Sometimes these concerns may relate to the way a child may have been treated by another student at this school. Please read this short article Raising concerns (pdf 10 KB) for advice.
